Range Rules & Safety Guidelines
Outpost Range
Hello Shooters and Welcome to Outpost Range Rules
Outpost Range is an outdoor shooting range committed to providing a safe, structured environment for firearms training and recreational shooting. Our facility features secure, purpose-built backstops designed to contain projectiles and a professional team promoting responsible firearm use.
While we provide the facility for safe shooting, it remains the responsibility of every shooter to follow all range safety rules, practice safe firearm handling, and observe proper range etiquette. Safety is a shared commitment between the range and its guests.
It is the responsibility of every shooter to handle firearms safely and follow all range rules and guidelines.
Outpost Range is a shared environment where the safe handling of firearms is paramount. Shooting sports can be a rewarding and safe activity when participants prioritize focus, respect, and common sense.
The Safety Orientation Program along with our Range Rules & Use Requirements outlines essential guidelines for participating safely at Outpost Range. While no plan can address every possible situation that might occur on a shooting range, these policies provide a foundation for responsible operation and conduct.
All participants are responsible for understanding and following these rules. If you have questions, please ask a Range Safety Officer (RSO) or Pro Shop staff member for clarification.
Safety Shall Be the Governing Consideration At All Times.
Convicted felons and individuals currently facing felony charges are strictly prohibited from being on Outpost Range property. This policy aligns with Florida Statute 790.23, which makes it unlawful for a convicted felon to own, possess, have custody or control over a firearm or ammunition, or be in a place where firearms are present and accessible to them. Until an individual’s rights have been legally restored, they are not permitted to enter Outpost Range property.
All shooters are expected to maintain safe handling and shooting practice while on Outpost Range property. Firearms must arrive unloaded and secured in a case, gun rug, or bag.
