A dynamic, competition-style setup packed with even more reactive steel targets. What are the firearm handling rules on the pistol range?
All firearms must arrive unloaded in a case, bag, or secure container. Firearms may only be uncased at the firing line or when directed by a Range Safety Officer (RSO). Eye and Ear protection are mandatory.
What pistol calibers are allowed at Outpost Range?
All pistol calibers are welcome on paper targets. Larger calibers are limited on steel targets for safety — please check with the RSO for specific steel target caliber guidelines.
Do I need to bring my own targets?
You’re welcome to bring your own paper targets, shoot n see type stick on targets or you can purchase them onsite at the Pro Shop.
Is pistol instruction available?
Yes — we offer private coaching, defensive pistol classes, and basic handgun safety courses for all skill levels.
Are rentals available for the pistol range?
Yes, we have a selection of rental pistols available in various calibers. A valid photo ID is required.
